So, yes, the economy is challenging and these can be seen by some as difficult times. Yes, there are budget cuts and some people are experiencing layoffs. Some companies and people are experiencing bankruptcy. There seems to be a lot of fear in the air – in workplace and in life. But fear will never bring us what we want. What do you need to be saying and doing to keep ahead of the game. I offer the following suggestions:
Stay focused on what IS working, rather than what is not. Talk only about things that keep you uplifted. Talking about how bad the economy is doesn’t solve anything. Whatever we focus on increases.
What can you begin to focus on for the future. Think bigger than you have ever done before. Put your energy into seeing what you want rather than what you don’t. Think service. Giving always begets receiving. They are one and the same. When you think you have nothing, Give. It’s amazing how it changes your perspective on life.
Watch out for limited thinking. There are no limits in the Universe. If you think the glass is half-empty or that there isn’t enough to go around, that will be your experience. What NEW thing can you create each day. Think something new today.
There is no other shoe to drop. So, let that belief go. See what is possible and dream. Then DO what comes to you from that place of power. Don’t just get busy, but follow inspiration to action.
Notice where you are resisting. Notice when you tell yourself I’ll wait for things to get better. Consider that this may just be the best time for starting that new project. Don’t wait. The Universe likes speed.
Stay around people who are exuding confidence and enthusiasm. Yes, things may be ending, but ends always mean a new beginning. Perhaps you need some new friends? Find people who are thriving and follow what they are thinking.
