American actress and activist, Natalie Portman, recently visited the Greater Poland Pediatrics Center in Poznań, Poland, where she read one of her own fables to the young patients. She was accompanied by U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Mark Brzezinski, and his partner Olga Leonowicz, who also took turns reading stories to the children. The book “Fables” by Natalie Portman, which has been translated into Polish and published as part of the Impact initiative, will donate all profits from sales in Poland to the TVN Foundation to support child psychiatry. The visit was also attended by local officials, including the Marshal of Greater Poland Voivodeship and the hospital director. Photo by Georges Biard, Wikimedia commons.
