Toronto is the largest city of Canada. It is one of the largest multicultural city as well, as people from all over the world have come to this city and settled down. Along with them, Toronto have the Gardiner Museum, Bata Shoe Museum, Harbourfront Centre, Ontario College of Art and Design, the University of Toronto Art Centre, and the Art Gallery of York University. Galleries devotes to contemporary art include the Power Plant, Design Exchange, Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art and many private galleries in Yorkville, the Distillery District, Queen Street West and elsewhere. Then there is international art festivals in which arts from all the cultures are put on display. Then Toronto is home to English language theater, where skits, drama are performed by the actors its one of the biggest attraction of people of Toronto. Moreover, several Broadway hits originated in Toronto.

Toronto is a center of Canadian English literature and a list of fiction set in Toronto reveals many titles by writers such as Margaret Atwood, Michael Ondaatje, etc. Canada’s largest newspapers are printed in Toronto as there are many people who have superb English and have been awarded. Toronto has many tourist sites, in September a major international film festival takes place where most of the Hollywood actors, producer etc come to celebrate it. Then there is a 10 day festival of Luminato displaying the culture and work of local artists, in addition to them, there is Caribbean festival, in which people show their Caribbean culture and there is a parade as well.

Toronto has quite a large number of all night open bars, as many people who came here had thus habit if drinking in bar from their home town so they also opened them here in this city. In music a band names Rush had been popular since 1968 and is the most heard band in Toronto. However, R&B and soul music have been prominent in Toronto since the 1990s. then many sports are also played in the Toronto as a result, people are attracted to visit them. Thus it could be seen that Toronto has no original culture of its own, today’s culture is a result of the mixing up of all the culture of the people who have come here in the past and settled here, thus altering the culture of Toronto. However, the most prominent culture of Toronto is art and museums.
