PANOLA COUNTY, Mississippi– Authorities are seeking justice after a horrific crime Saturday night near Courtland, Mississippi, according to WREG.

Jessica Chambers, 19, was lit on fire and left for dead alongside her burning car, according to authorities.

When rescuers arrived, she tried to tell them who had committed the crime, but as of now there are no suspects.

Her father Ben revealed chilling details about his daughter’s death.

“They said that as far as they could tell like they squirted fluid down her throat and up her nose because it just burned her on the inside so bad,” Chambers said.

He lost his son in a horrible car accident a few years ago as well.

Police have said that it is possible she had plans with two people that night and are looking into the case fervently.

The case has gained national attention with the hashtag #JusticeForJessica.

Officials are seeking any and all information anyone may have.
